July 2 -- Word of the day: WATER

Severe thunderstorms, hail, and possible tornadoes....At least that is what the weather at 7:00 AM said.
We left in a pretty healthy downpour, but it only lasted a half hour or so - three hours later there was barely a cloud in the sky.

Lake Superior was gorgeous and kept the temps just perfect - which we missed immensely as soon as we left it behind.

Fabulous day riding! Spent the night in Bergland, Michigan.
